Newcastle Restaurant Week – deals, menus and how to book

News of the return of NE1 Newcastle Restaurant Week is giving foodies and the industry a boost.

From January 17-23, 77 restaurants across the city will seize the opportunity to expand their customer base by offering a range of discounted deals.

The event, organized by NE1 Ltd, has been canceled for the past two years due to the pandemic, so its return offers restaurants that opened in the city during this time their first chance to participate.

Combined with the ability for diners to explore a range of dishes at reduced prices over seven days, it’s a win-win for everyone.



NE1 Newcastle Restaurant Week returns in January after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic

So how does Restaurant Week work? how to know what’s on the menu and how to book?

Here’s how to enter and remember that if your favorite restaurant books up early, it could be a perfect opportunity to try a new place.

There are 77 locations signed up for Restaurant Week and they include 15 newcomers. All are listed here.

There will be a range of discounts and special menus and options will cost £10, £15 or £20 per person depending on which restaurant you choose.

To check out the individual offerings, visit the Restaurant Week website here and scroll through the list of locations.

Click on a restaurant’s name in the list to see what it offers and, most importantly, what’s on its menu.

Once you find one you want to book, click on their ‘Get this deal’ option where – in addition to an option to sign up for NE1 Restaurant Week news – you’re taken to the ‘Get this deal’ option. my good”.

Clicking on it confirms the restaurant’s offer – some apply to lunch or dinner or different time slots – and there’s a PDF to download and take away to show it at your venue of choice.

To book, contact the restaurant directly: the e-mail and telephone details are on the site as well as information on each restaurant.

Then all you have to do is enjoy your journey of culinary discovery.
