Seoul, Feb. 27 (IANS): Samsung Electronics announced on Sunday that it will showcase a new range of products ranging from flagship smartphones to laptops at the upcoming global technology show in Spain.

Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022 will be held Monday through Thursday in Barcelona, ​​Spain next week.

It is one of the top three annual technology events in the world, along with the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in the United States and IFA in Germany.

First, Samsung will host the virtual “Samsung Galaxy MWC Event 2022,” which will be available to everyone on the tech giant’s YouTube channel, Yonhap news agency reports.

Samsung will introduce the next-generation Galaxy Book laptop for the first time. No concrete specification for the laptop has been released, but Intel is mentioned as a partner.

Samsung said the new laptop will provide a “seamless experience across all devices and operating systems” with different Galaxy devices working together.

At MWC, Samsung Electronics will also showcase its other product lines, such as the Galaxy S22 smartphones and the Galaxy Tab S8 series.

Earlier, the world’s largest smartphone maker unveiled its flagship Galaxy S series equipped with more powerful chips, eco-friendly features and improved camera performance that overcomes some of the shooting challenges of night.

Samsung has used recycled plastic materials, such as discarded fishing nets, as parts of the Galaxy S22 series, to expand the use of environmentally friendly materials and make its business more environmentally friendly.
